In spite of all efforts from competitors, Mercedes-Benz will continue to retain the global luxury sales crown in years to come.

The Bavarian automaker was able to post a 3% increase in sales for January – April 2018, compared with the same period last year. This trend has been going on for some time now and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to change anytime soon. In fact, some market analysts believe that Mercedes will enjoy even better performance as more SUVs hit the market over time.

One of the reasons why Mercedes is so dominant in this segment is because they have been able to offer competitive pricing on their passenger cars for a number of years now. They have also been investing a lot of money in developing new vehicles, ensuring that the brand is relevant in different market segments.

Porsche, on the other hand, has been pretty stagnant when it comes to its model lineup. This is one of the reasons why they haven’t been able to post good gains over the same period last year. There are also some reports saying that Porsche is currently focusing more on the development of its SUV lineup.

Meanwhile, BMW is heading in the right direction and it seems like they’re going to be able to take advantage of the slow growth from their Bavarian rivals. In fact, BMW has been doing a lot better when compared with Porsche these days. It looks like BMW will continue to enjoy good sales over the next few years, thanks to their product lineup.
